Responsibilities: Afternoon host of a 6 day per week air shift in the Classic Rock/Rock format. Ability to handle additional duties such as Music Director or Assistant Program Director. Must have excellent interview skills and a strong ability to manage daily feature which includes heavy phones. Must be able to briefly, yet creatively connect with the Classic Rock audience with knowledge of the music, and by incorporating local and topical content into breaks. The ability to assist in the design of on-air and on site contesting/ promotions; the ability to supply daily digital content, and possess excellent creative production skills. Must have a positive attitude on-air, with clients, in the hallways and on site. Must be willing to take direction.
Required Qualifications: Education: High school graduate Work Experience: 5 years on-air in a top 25 market Technical Skills: Selector, ENCO and knowledge of digital studio equipment as well as skills necessary for creating web and other digital platform content Non-technical Skills: Confident, passionate, disciplined; a motivated team player with an unyielding desire to win. Must have a positive attitude.
