WASHINGTON — (WMAL) President Barack Obama will deliver the keynote address at the 2016 South by Southwest Music Festival while funeral services for First Lady Nancy Reagan take place.
First Lady Michelle Obama will attend the funeral.
“As somebody who is lucky enough to have an extraordinary partner in my life as well, I know how much she meant not just to President Reagan but to the country as a whole,” the President said following news of the First Lady’s passing.
South by Southwest will conduct a ticket drawing to determine who will be admitted to the event, which will take place at Dell Hall at the The Long Center.
